I’m a Winner!

Jeff is a winner of National Novel Writing Month 2009

The Green Solution, my NaNoWriMo 2009 novel and a sequel to my 3-Day Novel Earth’s Imago, is now complete! (Or the rougher-than-rough first draft is anyway). Next up Rise of the Eaters, the last installment in the Urbani trilogy. And then, tons and tons of rewriting and editing.

Cool! I’d like that too. You climbing regularly now? I’ll hopefully be hitting the gym more after my test.

Congratulations! It’s been a while since we sat in the same English classroom (I guess I should add German to that too). I did a late Nanowrimo inspired writing last year and wrote a terrible fantasy novel which will never see the light of day, but it was helpful in its own way. I’m cowriting a book right now, which is heaps of fun. Love your site – I linked to it on mine. Cheers!

Wow, great to hear from you! It sure has been awhile. I love to hear about English majors keeping the flame alive. Well done co-authoring the book. What’s it about?

I love these contests because the first draft is always the hardest for me. It takes a bit of effort to overcome the negative voices I’ve internalized. And one of the strongest ones was busy being born right there in those classes we shared ;)

Thanks for linking to my site! I’ll be posting to this blog a little more frequently after my upcoming black belt test (during my subsequent season-long mountaineering class).
