I love these contests because the first draft is always the hardest for me. It takes a bit of effort to overcome the negative voices I’ve internalized. And one of the strongest ones was busy being born right there in those classes we shared ;)

It’s been a while since we sat in the same English classroom (I guess I should add German to that too). I did a late Nanowrimo inspired writing last year and wrote a terrible fantasy novel which will never see the light of day, but it was helpful in its own way.
